Without a doubt, Reverend JW Simpson is one of my new favourite hidden gems. It scores highly on everything I want in a cocktail bar; fun entrance, great atmosphere, tasty and well-thought out drinks (with wine and beer available too), no pretentiousness and a feeling of escapism. I'm sure the Reverend will be thanking the Gods that his flat.
